 Can the Tigers win a championship this year? And if so, what do they have to do?

they have all the pieces now. They just need to perform to their potential. The Starting Rotation has started to pitch solidly the last couple of weeks and need to keep it up as the starting rotation is the most important piece of any baseball team. The lineup is working right now like it was projected to do. With Ordonez coming back they are going to have a great chance to sneak into the playoffs and who knows what they will be able to do in October.

You just about summed it up.  Jackson and Verlnder have been 2 of the better pitchers in the majors this season and Gallaragahas been solid, last 2 strts aside.  I only really wonder about Porcello and whoever else they spot up in the rotation.  With there being a great chance either Willis or Bonderman are traded or outright released, wht else is there to count on?  Ordonez is still givin me ulcers though, and he needs to at least come back to near his career avg. for the offense to be consistent.  If Inge bats anywhere close to .300, he will win a gold glove this year.
